Microsoft to launch three new servicesMicrosoft is set to unveil three new services next month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade show in Barcelona.Included is the new SkyBox, a mobile phone application which will allow users to back up and synchronise data online. The product will work in conjunction with Microsoft's Windows Mobile systems. A business version of SkyBox, named 'SkyLine', will also launch simultaneously and is targeted at small businesses that can set up smartphones with Microsoft Exchange under the user's domain name. The final service unveiled by Microsoft at the event will be SkyMarket, which will allow owners of Windows Mobile to potentially download thousands of applications for the mobile operating system. Formerly known as the 3GSM World Congress, the MWC event will run between February 16th and 19th and has been a platform for Microsoft launches before, including the unveiling of Windows Mobile 6 in 2007. ![]() |
