Virtualisation 'save firms money'

Virtualisation integrated into IT infrastructures can be cost beneficial to cut budgets, according to IT experts.

The process can help to reduce power and space requirements, according to industry website Express Computer.

"Virtualisation is not limited to servers - it extends to all stacks of IT infrastructure, be it servers, storage, network, desktop or even applications," says the site.

Properly implemented processes are easily manageable, with providers able to supply central management solutions.
