Endsleigh saves money with system upgrade
Endsleigh Insurance Services has revealed it saved money and boosted productivity by allowing its staff to work remotely.
The company decided to overhaul the way the business operates, with Peter Leahy, head of IT at the insurance firm, saying it no longer operates as a branch-based business.
He states new technology allowed the firm to improve efficiency and give staff more flexible working options.
"We want to use these efficiency savings to support our relationship managers working from home or remote locations, with new tools and faster access to our core business systems," Mr Leahy adds.
One improvement made by the firm was to work with a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner to upgrade its Dynamics CRM system to the 4.0 version.
Mr Leahy states the new system allows the sales team to view their division's information without having to access other department's data.
He adds the company implemented Microsoft Office Communications to create a cost-effective infrastructure for unified communications.
It follows the news that Datacraft, an IT services provider, has incorporated Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 into its offerings.
