More businesses calling out for 'reliable communications'Datacraft has revealed it has integrated Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 into its offerings to give consumers increased choice.The company says it has added the application in response the customers demanding "innovative, reliable and scalable" ways to communicate. "Communications Server 2007 R2 is a powerful platform that builds on the solid base of Office Communications Server 2007 and allows for the creation of even better unified communications solutions," Neville Burdan, general manager for Microsoft Solutions at Datacraft Asia states. He says the application also reduces costs and improves performance in the company. Bharat Mirchandani, business group manager for information worker at Microsoft Singapore, adds the product allows users to "foster better collaboration and productivity". Mr Burdan warns users they will not see the full effects of the converged communication system if they do not back it up with a strategic framework. He says by doing this businesses can take part in desktop sharing, group chat and dial-in audioconferencing. Ensleigh Insurance Services recently revealed it boosted productivity and cost effectiveness by implementing Microsoft Office Communications. ![]() |
