Hosted email choice 'can be tricky'

Selecting a hosted email solution can be tricky and businesses should be aware of what to look out for, CNN Money advises.

It suggests that firms keep several things in mind when choosing a hosted email provider, the first being the fact that email can take up a lot of space.

Companies using multiple accounts must factor that in when deciding how much disk space they need, the news provider states.

As well as this, they must also ensure spam filters will be upgraded regularly to keep junk mail at bay and might want to consider whether things such as hosted blogs can be integrated, it continues.

But it also warns against opting for hosting services with lots of technology to get to grips with if they are not very tech savvy.

Earlier this month, Datacraft revealed increasing demand for innovative, reliable and scalable IT and communications services, suggesting that firms are taking a more informed approach to hosted solutions.
