VMware reveals new partner programVMware has unveiled a new scheme designed to provide associates with enhanced access to tools and information.The virtualisation specialist has revealed its VMware Partner Program, which has a common infrastructure utilising extensive sales and services tools, margin opportunities and industry-recognised training. According to the firm, the new scheme will benefit sales partners, solution providers and technology partners, along with original equipment manufacturers. Partners are the key to providing customers with the benefits of virtualisation technology, claims Carl Eschenbach, executive vice president of worldwide field operations at the company. He comments: "The VMware Partner Network is designed to deliver competency-based training and tools to help our partners grow their virtualisation practices and continue to be trusted advisers to customers of all sizes." The company, which provides a virtual data centre operating system to connect computers and storage devices, is also improving its existing information portal in order to provide partners with easier access to market development funds. ![]() |
