Webcast 'to educate SharePoint users'

Microsoft SharePoint implementation specialists are to deliver a webcast educating users how to get the most out of the technology.

Infonic and the EPC Group are teaming up to deliver the Best Practices for External Information Sharing with SharePoint webinar, which will offer guidance and strategy for the software.

The stream will be hosted by EPC founder Errin O'Connor, along with Infonic technical director Jeffrey Wolff.

According to the specialist, the webcast will focus on how organisations can utilise SharePoint to successfully adapt their web content management requirements for secure information sharing with external partners and agencies.

The webinar will also cover architecture topics such as the pitfalls of publishing and content deployment and how to leverage replication technologies to maximise data provision.

In related news, infrastructure specialist EMC and its security division, RSA, recently launched a new product designed to simplify management and enhance security in Microsoft SharePoint environments.
