SharePoint provider bags TTT award

Microsoft Office SharePoint specialist Mimosa Systems has been awarded a Tomorrow's Technology Today (TTT) gong in recognition of its vendor solutions.

The company triumphed in the Email Content Management section at the Info Security Products Guide (ISPG) ceremony for its NearPoint software solution.

NearPoint is a unified archiving technology that addresses critical customer requirements around email, file, instant messages and SharePoint content.

Scott Whitney, vice president of product management of Mimosa Systems, says the ISPG awards recognise innovation and leadership in delivering next-generation archiving solutions.

"Corporations worldwide have standardised on Mimosa NearPoint to proactively manage runaway email and information growth and address stringent eDiscovery and regulatory compliance mandates in an intuitive, cost-effective manner," he comments.

The company, which recently announced it will be providing the Palm Beach County Clerk and Comptroller's Office with its software solution, says organisations are increasingly facing challenges with managing storage costs and speeding up recovery times.
