Syrinx seals $100 k SharePoint contractConsulting and software specialist Syrinx has signed a $100,000 (£70,000) to provide SharePoint solutions to a pharmaceutical company.The agreement has been signed with an organisation in the Boston area and involves securely migrating thousands of users and gigabytes of data from a SharePoint 2003 environment to the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform. According to Syrinx, which is based in Waltham, Massachusetts, it was chosen for its custom development expertise on the SharePoint platform and will implement the changes by the end of June. Andrew Gelina, chief executive officer of the company, comments: "SharePoint 2007 is a powerful platform with amazing capability. "Both migration from SharePoint 2003 and future custom development of SharePoint 2007 warrant careful planning and execution," he adds. The platform is perfect for organisations with a myriad of data sources and complex business processes, including pharmaceutical companies which must demonstrate compliance with varying regulations, the expert concludes. ![]() |
