SharePoint 'the number one choice'

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is the number one choice among medium and large companies across the world, according to an expert.

Technology and consulting specialist Eldev says the platform is the ideal option of businesses looking to manage content and business processes.

MOSS 2007 offers a "top-of-the-line" solution based on technologies based in the platform, the firm claims.

"It provides the targeting capabilities and personalisation necessary to organisations to build flexible and robust solutions for a large user base," Eldev explains.

The company recently attended the SharePoint Techfest in Dallas, Texas, which was attended by experts and keynote speakers unveiling the latest products.

According to the organisers, the one-day conference was interesting for both current users of SharePoint products and technologies, as well as those looking to explore its potential.
