MAPILab launches new SharePoint solution

Russian technology specialist MAPILab has launched a new SharePoint tool for collecting and analysing data about usage of site collections.

The product is compatible with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, the company states.

According to the firm, its MAPILab Statistics for SharePoint helps firms building web-based applications which allow teams to efficiently collaborate with team members, share information and automate and streamline business processes.

Alexander Gorlach, president of the company, which also produced the accessory tool MAPILab Spy, says development of the program has taken over a year.

"We hope MAPILab Statistics for SharePoint will become a really helpful solution for SharePoint administrators due to its easy deployment," he comments.

Mr Gorlach says users can also benefit from full integration with SharePoint environments and flexible settings for data processing, plus the support of complex topologies.

Management of data storage period and exporting into PDF and XLS formats are further useful features, the expert concludes.
