Webcast 'will highlight SharePoint'

An upcoming webcast will highlight the benefits of the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, according to the hosts.

Project management specialist BrightWork is holding a webinar on May 12th which will involve a live demonstration of the capabilities offered by the platform.

The event aims to educate businesses and IT managers in leveraging the features of SharePoint to track and manage work items that exist outside the formal structures of projects, the firm claims.

Viewers will also see how the platform can be extended with out-of-the-box templates for pmPoint software, a SharePoint add-on for managing work and projects of varying size and type, BrightWork adds.

Those utilising pmPoint's work tracker and work manager outlines can benefit from "an affordable and highly-adoptable solution for practical work management", the firm claims.

After the event, participants will be sent a recording of the session, which includes a slide-show presentation and free trials of the pmPoint templates.
