Virtual training for Sharepoint 2007A virtual training centre (VTC) has been set up to help provide support to IT professionals using Microsoft Sharepoint 2007.A series of video training exercises have been created by Software FX to help IT professionals get to grips with the complexities of the Microsoft Sharepoint platform. Released yesterday (May 13th), companies interested in investing in training for their staff have been advised that the VTC course will cost $299 (£196.77). Devereaux Milburn, a Sharepoint expert trainer and VTC architect at the firm, commented: "The main goal is to provide IT professionals with a valuable and cost-effective tool to alleviate the many tasks associated with maintaining Sharepoint and address user-related questions that usually overwhelm help desks." Users of Microsoft Sharepoint 2010 have been advised by Microsoft that all software must be 64-bit compliant in order to run this new version. Furthermore, the company has announced that it is currently in the process of developing an increased level of compatibility for the Microsoft Sharepoint platform with non-Windows operating systems. ![]() |
