Businesses 'gain strength through virtualisation'Companies are able to embrace new working practices by implementing virtualisation to their company servers, it has been claimed.Danny Guillory, chief executive officer of Innovations International, said that businesses are able to increase data availability for workers and are therefore able to become more flexible in their working practices, something which enables a firm to become more resilient to changing economic pressures. He commented: "The bottom line is, virtualisation can create a stronger organization where employees work efficiently and with balance that working from home can offer." CRN recently reported that the one-size-fits-all nature of software as a service has meant that the system has become a mainstream option for businesses looking to cut down their IT spending while maintaining company infrastructure. The website noted that the uptake of this type of IT management system has accelerated in recent months, partly due to cost saving benefits, but also due to the data storage advantages of operating in a virtualised network. ![]() |
