IT hosting recommended for managing multiple sitesSmall and medium enterprises managing several websites have been advised to make use of a dedicated hosting system.According to Carrie Hill, director of search strategies at US firm Blizzard Internet Marketing, services such as a hosted Sharepoint system or hosted exchange are worth considering for firms with a web presence. She writes for Search Engine Watch that firms with several websites could streamline their operations by using a shared managed hosting system. "Just putting each site on its own dedicated hosting set up sent the newer site from page five to bottom of page one in about three months," said Ms Hill. "If you must interlink your sites, and you want to continue to do so, make sure you arrange your hosting correctly." IT advice website Techradar.com has also recommended email hosting facilities and online storage systems to its readers. The website said that email hosting gives firms greater flexibility and the advantage of remote access to a range of documents. ![]() |
