Microsoft Sharepoint 2010 reaches preview milestoneWith the expected release next year of Microsoft Sharepoint 2010, one sector commentator has said it could be more flexible than previous editions.Kanwal Khipple, SharePoint consultant and editor of SharePoint Buzz, said the corporation now requires feedback so it can understand issues that may have been overlooked during development. Microsoft announced earlier this week that the technical preview engineering marker has been reached by solutions including Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2010. "The fact that Microsoft has reached the technical preview for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 means that [they] are pretty confident with the changes they have made to the platform and now require feedback from customers and IT professionals," Mr Khipple stated. He added that the new version will allow more adaptability for partners. Microsoft Sharepoint can help enterprises become more organised by facilitating information sharing. Furthermore, it can accelerate shared business processes, which could be of use to organisations which need to run more efficiently. ![]() |
