Trust issues resolved for Sharepoint 2010

One of the major issues many businesses found with Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 was the software's inability to run its applications outside of trusted domains.

However, this problem has been resolved in Sharepoint 2010, as Microsoft has installed fully customisable trust levels for all aspects of the software into its newest release.

By introducing Sandboxed Solutions, the company has enabled businesses to monitor and control all aspects of the system, from restrictions on access and resources to memory and CPU cycles.

According to Windows IT Pro: "Businesses can deploy these solutions rapidly because there's less risk and less need for a review process to slow them down."

Elsewhere, CIO.co.uk recently reported Sharepoint 2010 is likely to be easier to use, better at understanding and correlating data and more reliable than its predecessors.

Rob LaMear, chief executive officer of fpweb.net commented that "the cloud is stable and ready to go ... 2010 is going to be big".
