CRM and hosted exchange issues revealedBusinesses have been advised to combine customer research management (CRM) with hosted exchange solutions to make managing clients more straightforward.Amy Tierney wrote in an opinion piece for TMC Net that there are five main areas where companies should not cut back when attempting to integrate hosted exchange dynamics with CRM. These are enforcing name conventions in databases, tracking customer satisfaction, levels, collaboration, keeping records of all customer communication and backing up data. She argued: "It becomes inefficient, unproductive and costly to have to weed through a stack of business cards, an Excel file or a poorly-managed database to try and find answers that may or may not be accurate." Elsewhere, CIO.co.uk recently reported Microsoft's Sharepoint data management system is continually evolving to allow businesses to make use of new applications and techniques. In this way, the product can be tailored to provide a bespoke data management solution for all types of company. ![]() |
