Information quality 'essential for firms'The quality of stored data is integral to the smooth running and disaster recovery efforts of firms, it has been claimed.IT director Dr Dave Waddington stated that in order to avoid costly downtime, businesses should look to ensure their files are maintained in the best and most up-to-date condition possible, as this will help speed up a recovery in the event of a crisis. However, he noted: "There is little concrete information available regarding the use of systems integrators by end-user organisations for implementing master data management programs in business."
