Businesses 'could rue cheap data recovery'Signing deals to get the cheapest data recovery services could ultimately cost businesses more in the long run, it has been claimed.Albert092002 - a blogger for FGNPR - has said businesses which are attracted to cut-price data recovery systems will often be unaware of the drawbacks of doing so. "Many will try to seduce you into date and switch tactics that will only cost you more money in the end. They tried to bring you in with a ridiculous amount of upfront money," the blogger noted. He added that in some cases, the services on offer simply do not provide adequate return on investment, as they cannot guarantee lost files will be restored. Elsewhere, Computer Technology Review recently reported firms around the world are dependent on email to carry out effective communications and it is therefore important to have in place an effective email recovery system. Therefore, in order to ensure the smooth running of business, companies have been urged to invest in continuous data protection to help boost data recovery chances and limit downtime. ![]() |
