Data security lessons 'must be learned'Businesses must take heed of the issues they have faced in the past to ensure future data security is maintained at an optimum level, it has been claimed.Computing.co.uk reported that companies should look to develop flexible business models that are capable of meeting security needs and ensure all confidential files are safeguarded at all times. Indeed, firms should learn from the problems they have faced before to set up systems that are able to cope in the modern, fast-paced business world. The publication noted: "The risks dont stop with corporate IT management decision making. Outside the business, new security laws continue to keep organisations on their toes." Elsewhere, Amit Klein, chief technology officer of Trusteer, recently said businesses must ensure they focus on "critical paths" in order to avoid infection from trojan viruses. He suggested firms look to implement antivirus systems to monitor network paths more closely. ![]() |
